Donald Trump Declares Emergency at US Border and Introduces New Initiatives
Donald Trump declared a state of emergency at the US southern border and announced a ban on government censorship during his inaugural address, unveiling several bold initiatives, according to NewsBox.
In his first speech as the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump announced the implementation of a state of emergency at the country's southern border. He stated that illegal border crossings will be completely stopped and that migrants entering the US illegally will be sent back to their countries of origin. Furthermore, he mentioned that the National Guard will be deployed to the southern border to combat illegal immigration and prevent "invasions."
Trump also declared that drug cartels will be recognized as terrorist organizations and that the official US policy will now only acknowledge two genders—male and female. The president noted that the government will base its actions on this concept.
One key initiative was a promise to bring the Panama Canal back under American control.
"We cannot hand over the Panama Canal to the Chinese, we must take it back for ourselves," emphasized Trump.
The president announced that astronauts would plant an American flag on Mars, making the colonization of this planet part of a strategy to expand US territory.
He also promised to build "the most powerful military the world has ever known," adding that success will be defined not only by military victories but also by preventing wars.
Moreover, Trump announced a state of emergency in the energy sector, stressing that the US will develop its own fuel supplies, reject initiatives like the Green New Deal, and supply energy worldwide.
Notably, in his inaugural speech, Trump made no mention of Russia or Ukraine.
