Top Agribusiness Manager Passes Away Following Summons from Rosselkhoznadzor
In Leningrad Region, the commercial director of the ‘Blago’ group of companies, Alexander Khaydin, a renowned figure among the top agribusiness managers, passed away following a summons to the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), as reported by NewsBox.
In Leningrad Region, the commercial director of ‘Blago’, one of the largest producers of vegetable oil, Alexander Khaydin, passed away. The man, recognized as one of the best agribusiness managers in 2022, was found dead at his dacha.
On January 15, Khaydin had planned to pick up his wife Galina after work and take her to their dacha. However, by the evening, he stopped responding to calls, and his wife became worried. She reached out to the management of the ‘Severnaya Korona’ labor union, where he was a member. When they checked his house, they discovered Alexander's body in the garage. Next to him was a Strasser RS 05 Standard rifle.
In a preliminary note, Khaydin expressed gratitude to his wife for the years they spent together and wrote that he 'needed to leave.' Just a few days before the tragedy, he had told his wife that he had been summoned to the Rosselkhoznadzor to provide explanations regarding dealings linked with the Belarusian company ‘Kubok’. Galina noted that her husband seemed to be extremely distressed and mentioned cryptic words: 'Maybe I should go?' — which she did not take seriously at the time.
