Is the BPLA "Lyuty" bombing Kazan? Details of the attack on the capital of Tatarstan

Overhead Kazan, a Ukrainian drone, presumably of the "Lyuty" model, was shot down. The threat of new attacks from the BPLA remains, as reported by ArbatMedia.

Early on January 20, residents of Kazan noticed the flight of a Ukrainian drone and a subsequent explosion in the sky. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred around 04:30 in the aviation area of the city.

A drone of the aircraft type, presumably the "Lyuty" model, was observed over the area, followed by an explosion that illuminated the sky. According to local residents, the target of the attack could be a facility located in this area.

This part of the city has the highest concentration of potential factory sites: aviation, engine manufacturing, and helicopter factories. Here also lies the Kazanorgsintez plant, which had previously suffered from BPLA attacks, as well as a chemical plant.

The Emergency Ministry of Tatarstan has announced an increased risk of drone attacks in the region. There is currently no official information on casualties or damage from the incident.
