"Friendly Fire": How Many Civilians Have Died in Kursk Region from Russian Shelling?
At least 36 people have died and around 100 have sustained injuries in the Suzhansky district of Kursk region, which is under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, following Russian shelling, reports NewsBox.
The representative of the military command for the Suzhansky district, Aleksey Dmitrashkovsky, announced that as a result of Russian attacks on the territory controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 36 civilians were killed and around 100 were injured. According to his data, there are around two thousand civilians remaining in the area, and the whereabouts of 600 people are still unknown.
Since the moment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' control over the area, 112 people have died. Dmitrashkovsky added that at least 40 people have died from heart-related issues caused by stress due to the constant shelling.
