In Vladivostok, a 37-year-old man stole an SUV, rammed a church, a traffic police car, and a bus, claiming his actions were a protest against the sale of candles being restricted to inside the church, NewsBox reports.

The man stole a Land Rover SUV that had been left idling on Russkaya Street for warm-up and went on a series of collisions. First, he drove through the church gates, then rammed a traffic police (GIBDD) vehicle, and, while trying to escape the chase, collided with a bus.

The reckless driver was apprehended on the spot and identified as former investigator Alexander G. Before the incident, he had posted photos of the church crash site on his social media channel. The man claimed he was outraged by the requirement to buy candles exclusively inside the church. He also sent a "greeting" to government officials, accusing them of corruption and demanding they leave the country within 24 hours.

A breathalyzer test showed 0.0% alcohol in his system. After being detained, he was taken to the police station. The motives behind his actions and the circumstances of the incidents are under investigation
