A captured KNDР serviceman recounts how he ended up in Russia and Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky released a video featuring a captured North Korean serviceman, who shared details about his deployment in the army and his participation in the conflict in Ukraine, as reported by NewsBox.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky posted a video recording with a captured North Korean serviceman. In the footage, the serviceman recounts that he was conscripted into the KNDР army at the age of 17 right after finishing school and has been serving on a conscription basis ever since, rather than on a contract.

The serviceman claims he was unaware of the fact that he and his fellow soldiers were being sent to Russia to take part in the war against Ukraine. According to him, the transfer from North Korea to Russia took place on a cargo ship. The video has sparked widespread controversy; however, no official comments have been made by Russian or North Korean authorities so far.
