Trump vs. UN: U.S. Ends Funding and Withdraws from Organization's Bodies

Donald Trump has signed an order for the United States to withdraw from the UN Human Rights Council and announced a reassessment of the country's involvement in UNESCO. Washington will also cease funding the UN agency that supports Palestinian refugees, reports NewsBox.
The former U.S. President, Donald Trump, stated that the United Nations is not fulfilling its potential, prompting Washington to reconsider its participation in the organization's structures. He signed an order for the U.S. to exit the UN Human Rights Council and announced the termination of funding for UNRWA—the UN agency dedicated to assisting Palestinian refugees.
Additionally, the Trump administration intends to reevaluate U.S. membership in UNESCO, citing the organization's anti-American bias as the reason.
Furthermore, Trump signed a new document he described as a "very tough" directive, aimed at reinstating his policy of "maximum pressure" on Iran. This move is focused on strengthening economic and diplomatic measures against Tehran.
