U.S. President Donald Trump announced that representatives from Russia, Ukraine, and the United States could potentially meet at the Munich Security Conference, scheduled from February 14th to 16th. However, officials in Kyiv have denied the possibility of such an interaction, reports NewsBox.

According to Trump, senior delegates from the three countries are expected to gather in Munich. However, he did not specify who would participate in the discussions, as noted by Astra.

Advisor to Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky, Dmytro Lytvyn, refuted this information, emphasizing that there is currently no basis for a meeting with the Russian side.

“Europe must be part of any serious dialogue for genuine and lasting peace. Meeting with the Russians at an empty table serves no purpose. There is nothing on the table right now, so there will be no negotiations in Munich,” stated Lytvyn.

Trump also mentioned that representatives from the three countries might meet next week in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, he expressed his opinion that excluding Russia from the G8 was a mistake and declared his intention to reintegrate the country into the group.

Meanwhile, during the Munich Conference, discussions are anticipated between Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. Vice President Di Vensa.
