Trump Lifts Biden's Ban on Heavy Bomb Deliveries to Israel

Donald Trump has announced the lifting of the ban on supplying bombs weighing over 900 kilograms to Israel, a ban that was introduced by the Biden administration. According to Trump, Israel has already paid for the order and will soon receive these munitions, reports NewsBox.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced the removal of the ban on supplying heavy bombs over 900 kilograms to Israel. On his Truth Social page, he stated: "They [Israel] will receive them. They paid for them and have been waiting a long time."
He also noted that the weapons ordered and paid for by Israel are already on the way.
Previously, the Biden administration supplied Israel with such munitions following a Hamas attack on October 7, 2023. However, the White House later froze the supplies out of concerns that using these bombs could lead to significant civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, a ceasefire brokered by the U.S. and Qatar remains in place in the region, having been established on January 19. Under this agreement, Hamas has committed to gradually releasing hostages taken in October 2023, while the Israeli side is releasing hundreds of imprisoned Palestinians.
