Trump Cracks Down on Immigration: Ukrainians Lose Access to U.S.

The Trump administration has suspended several immigration programs, including the initiative "United for Ukraine," reports NewsBox. 

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has halted a number of programs that allowed migrants to temporarily stay in the country. Among these was the "United for Ukraine" initiative, which offered Ukrainians the opportunity to enter the U.S. with financial sponsorship. This was reported by the New York Times.

The decision is part of Donald Trump's immigration policy aimed at tightening controls on foreign entry. According to "Interfax-Ukraine," the program enabled over 150,000 people to temporarily settle in the U.S. until September 2023. Now, the implementation of this initiative is on hold.
