Rumors about Military Deaths in Ukraine Banned in North Korea

The North Korean authorities have begun threatening citizens with punishments for spreading rumors about North Korean soldiers allegedly killed in Ukraine. Residents are being urged to report anyone discussing this topic, reports NewsBox.

The North Korean government has tightened their control over the population and started demanding that citizens report those who discuss rumors about the deaths of North Korean soldiers on Ukrainian territory. According to Newsweek, failing to comply with this order may result in punishment.

An anonymous source from the publication revealed that the directive was distributed to enterprises, including employees of the "Tokchon Motor Complex" located in South Pyongan Province, north of Pyongyang. The directive states that spreading such rumors is unacceptable and that authorities will take action against those who refuse to inform about violators.
