As part of the agreement to cease hostilities in the Gaza sector, Israel will release 95 Palestinian detainees, including 10 minors, on the very first day of the agreement's implementation. The deal between Israel and Hamas will take effect on January 19 and will be realized in three phases, with the first phase lasting six weeks, reported NewsBox.

According to a statement by the Israeli Ministry of Justice, published on January 17, among those released are 70 women and 25 men. Ten of the detainees are minors aged between 16 and 18: one girl and nine boys. The ministry published a list of the detainees to be released, excluding the names of the minors, as stated by CNN.

The Palestinian Society of Detainees (PPS), a rights organization advocating for the rights of Palestinians in Israeli jails, reported that at least two women from the released list have already been freed.

According to information from two U.S. officials, on Sunday, three Israeli women held as hostages would be released in the context of the exchange.
