Elon Musk Suggests Renaming the English Channel

Elon Musk suggested renaming the English Channel to the "George Washington Channel" in honor of the first U.S. president. He proposed this idea on his page on social network X, reports NewsBox.  

Elon Musk, who is known for his unconventional ideas, proposed renaming the English Channel. On his social network X page, he wrote: "A new name for the waters dividing England and France."

In doing so, Musk suggested immortalizing the name of the first U.S. president in a geographical name.

The idea sparked active discussions on social media. 

Musk has yet to specify how serious he is about this idea, but as always, his statement attracted public and media attention.

It's worth noting that this suggestion came shortly after Donald Trump's decision to rename the Gulf of Mexico.
