Zelensky Calls Trump-Putin Talks Without Kyiv Dangerous

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has described the talks between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war as "a threat to everyone" due to the exclusion of Kyiv. He stated that discussing Ukraine without its representation is unacceptable, reports NewsBox.
Volodymyr Zelensky declared that discussions between the former U.S. President Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin about the war in Ukraine, conducted without Kyiv's involvement, pose a danger to all parties. He revealed this in an interview with the Associated Press.
Earlier, Trump stated that his administration was already engaged in "very serious" talks with Russia, but did not specify who was conducting these negotiations. Zelensky emphasized that Moscow and Washington may have their own relations, but Ukraine must be a part of these talks; otherwise, it carries risks.
The President of Ukraine also noted that, in addition to the U.S., Russia, and Ukraine, the European Union representatives should be actively involved in the process. According to him, his team maintains contacts with Trump's circle, and personal meetings are planned in the near future.
Furthermore, Zelensky mentioned that a visit by Trump's special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, scheduled for early January, was postponed "due to legal reasons."
