U.S. President Claims 'Progress' in Ukraine Conflict Resolution

Donald Trump spoke of “significant progress” in resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict. At the same time, he demanded that Europe increase its financial support for Ukraine, reports NewsBox.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that supposedly considerable progress has been made in the efforts to settle the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. He did not provide any details. Additionally, he made several bold statements.

According to him, Europe needs to ramp up its funding for Ukraine to balance the expenses borne by Washington. In return, the U.S. wants to receive rare-earth metals and other valuable minerals from Kyiv.

Furthermore, Trump unexpectedly proposed that Canada could avoid new tariffs and gain U.S. military protection. However, to achieve this, the country would have to join the United States as the 51st state.
