Ukrainian UAVs Attack Krasnodar Region: Explosions Over Slavyansk-on-Kuban

During the night in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, a series of explosions occurred—local residents reported hearing at least five blasts, accompanied by bright flashes in the sky. Preliminary information suggests that the air defense system was activated. Debris from downed drones caused significant damage, according to NewsBox.
On the night of February 8, several powerful explosions thundered over Slavyansk-on-Kuban in the Krasnodar region. Witnesses mentioned hearing the distinctive sound of drones around 2:40 AM, followed by flashes in the sky. Initial reports indicate that the air defense system neutralized several airborne threats.
Immediately following the attack, some districts in the city experienced power outages. The explosions were audible even outside Slavyansk-on-Kuban—in the settlements of Gubernatorsky (14 km from the city) and Baranikovsky (10 km). Emergency services arrived on the scene shortly after the event.
Later, the governor of the Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratyev, reported that debris from the downed UAVs damaged the roofs and windows of five residential houses. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Special services are continuing to address the aftermath of the attack.
