Ukrainian Strike on Russian Command: Officers and North Korean Military Among the Casualties

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a central command post of the Russian army was struck in the Kursk direction, resulting in the elimination of dozens of Russian officers. According to him, North Korean military personnel were also among the casualties, as reported by NewsBox.

In an interview with the Associated Press, President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine stated that Ukrainian forces attacked the Russian army's central command post in the Kursk direction. As a result of the strike, he claimed, dozens of officers of the Russian Armed Forces were killed, along with military personnel from North Korea.

Zelensky emphasized that North Korea had already sent 12,000 troops to the conflict, although this contingent has lost combat effectiveness. According to his information, Moscow might recruit an additional 20–25 thousand North Korean soldiers.

Additionally, President Zelensky mentioned that he hopes to hold talks with Russia after meeting with Donald Trump. He believes that settling the conflict is only possible with the participation of Kyiv, Moscow, and Washington.
