The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed the hit on the oil refinery in Saratov. According to Ukrainian reports, a fire broke out at the facility, leading to a temporary halt in its operations, reports NewsBox.

The Ukrainian General Staff confirmed that the oil refinery in Saratov was attacked. According to military information from Ukraine, the site caught fire, and the extent of the damage is being assessed.

Ukrainian military sources claim the refinery produces over 20 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, fuel oil, and diesel. They state the plant plays a vital role in supplying fuel to the Russian armed forces.

Sources from emergency services, as reported by ASTRA, indicate that the strike on the PJSC "Saratov Oil Refinery" damaged a low-pressure gas pipeline, which subsequently ignited. The plant paused its operations at the time of the attack.
