Ukrainian Forces Target Russian Infrastructure: Oil Depots, Factories, and Command Posts
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed drone strikes on an oil depot in the Voronezh region, a Smolensk aviation plant, and a command post of the Russian army in occupied Volnovakha, reports NewsBox.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces verified attacks on strategic targets within Russian territory and occupied areas. On the night of January 21st, drones from Ukrainian Special Operations Forces struck again at the 'Liskinsky' oil facility in the Voronezh region.
The attack, executed alongside other Ukrainian Defense units, resulted in storage tanks containing fuel and lubricants—used by Russian troops—catching fire. Reportedly, the oil depot belongs to the corporation 'Rosneft'.
Additionally, the Ukrainian General Staff announced strikes on a Smolensk aviation plant, where explosions were recorded, and the command post of the 29th Combined Arms Army of Russia located in occupied Volnovakha.
The Ukrainian side emphasizes that these strikes aim to dismantle the military infrastructure supporting Russian troop operations.
