Ukraine Proposes Humanitarian Corridor in Kursk Region

Ukraine has expressed its willingness to set up a humanitarian corridor for Russian citizens in the Kursk region, but stated that it has not yet received an official request from Moscow, reports NewsBox.

Ukraine announced its readiness to cooperate with Russia on creating a humanitarian corridor for residents of border areas in Kursk affected by military actions. According to AFP, citing the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Kyiv is ready to provide such a corridor if it receives a formal request from the Russian side.

However, Kyiv emphasized that no such request has been made yet. Representatives from Zelensky's office noted that, in their view, the Russian authorities do not seem interested in the welfare of their citizens in the border zone.
