The FSB officers detained two teenagers in Angarsk, born in 2007 and 2009, for their suspected attempt to set military equipment on fire. According to the intelligence services, in January they threw bottles with a flammable mixture into the local military base. The attack did not result in any harm to equipment or personnel.
The FSB claims that the teenagers were also scouting other potential targets for arson, including military and transport infrastructure.
During the search, law enforcement recorded the arrest, and in the footage, one of the teenagers admits they were supposedly offered $300 for the arson, but the money was never paid.
The FSB stated that the teenagers allegedly communicated with representatives of Ukrainian intelligence through messaging apps. The investigation is determining all the circumstances of the incident.
