Former U.S. President Donald Trump is developing a plan to halt the war in Ukraine within 100 days, with a key goal of reaching a ceasefire by Easter (April 20), reports NewsBox.

According to sources cited by "political and diplomatic circles" in Ukraine, the plan includes a ceasefire that would freeze the current front line, a ban on Ukraine joining NATO, and Kyiv's recognition of Russian sovereignty over annexed territories. Additionally, Ukrainian troops would need to withdraw from Russia's Kursk region, while a European contingent, possibly including British forces, may be deployed to secure the demilitarized zone. The U.S. will not partake in this contingent. The EU is proposed to allocate funds for Ukraine's reconstruction, valued by the German Marshall Fund at $486 billion over a decade, writes Daily Mail.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has denied the existence of any ceasefire plans. The White House has not officially commented on this information yet.

It is reported that should the plan be implemented, a phone conversation between Zelensky and Putin will take place in the coming days, with a personal meeting between the hostile parties planned for late February or early March. An official announcement of the ceasefire is expected on April 20, and the declaration of the terms for ending the war is anticipated by May 9. Kyiv will be offered to cancel martial law and stop the mobilization.

Trump also intends to organize an international peace conference, mediated by other well-known countries, to facilitate the signing of an agreement to end the war, which, according to Zelensky, has claimed the lives of over 45,000 Ukrainian soldiers, while Ukrainian intelligence estimates around 840,000 Russian military personnel.

It's worth noting that this information has not been officially confirmed and remains speculative, requiring further verification.
