Furthermore, Trump stated that he supports the decision against Ukraine's NATO membership. In his view, Kiev joining the alliance seems unlikely and impractical given the current circumstances.
At the same time, head of the Ukrainian President's Office, Andriy Yermak, mentioned that Kiev has already initiated negotiations to address the conflict. He highlighted that Zelensky and Trump agreed on promptly starting the work of expert groups. A meeting is planned in Munich within the next 24 hours to begin discussions on specific steps for developing a framework for a future peace agreement.
