Three Soldiers Killed in Lygovo Attack

During a missile strike on the location of the 76th Guard Air Assault Brigade in the Kursk region on December 30, three soldiers and one major were killed, reports NewsBox.

At the end of December, Ukrainian armed forces launched an attack with Storm Shadow missiles on the military unit of the 76th Guard Air Assault Brigade, positioned in Lygovo of the Kursk region. According to reports by "Mediazona," as a result of the attack no fewer than three soldiers and one major lost their lives.

Among the fallen were journalist Valeriya Tereshchenko, a communications specialist from the 76th Division of VDV; Pavlo Maletsko, commander of the 656th separate engineering-sapper battalion; Oleksiy Seliverstov, responsible for chemical, radiation, and biological defense of the division; and Major Ali Tsurov.

According to information provided in the necrologies, all officers perished during the attack, and an additional 22 military personnel sustained injuries.

The missile strike occurred on December 30, and the impacts of the attack continue to be discussed in military circles to this day. Journalists emphasize that this is one of the most precise strikes against Russian military positions in the region in recent times.
