Strike on the Ilsky Refinery? Drone Attack in the Krasnodar Region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched an attack on the Ilsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region. According to local residents, a significant fire erupted at the facility, and air defense forces were not able to intercept all the drones involved, reports NewsBox.

During the night, the AFU carried out an assault on the Ilsky refinery in the Krasnodar region. Local reports indicated that a series of powerful explosions were heard around 1:00 AM. Russian air defense managed to shoot down several drones, yet preliminary information suggests at least one drone reached its target.

Witnesses state that a severe fire ignited within the refinery's perimeter. Emergency services are actively working at the scene.

Russian media insists that the fire occurred "near the plant" and not directly on the facility itself. Authorities of the Krasnodar region also reported that the attack resulted in damage to 12 residential buildings, and a woman sustained injuries.

No official data regarding the aftermath of the strike on the refinery has been released yet.
