The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out attacks on two customs stations in the Bryansk region where Russian military personnel were present. The strikes resulted in the deaths of two servicemen and injuries to eight others, as reported by NewsBox.

The attacks targeted two customs checkpoints in the Bryansk region, where Russian troops were stationed. According to information from ASTRA, on February 9, an administrative building at the Troebortnoye checkpoint in the Sevsk district, near the Ukrainian border, was hit. Sources indicate that the attack was conducted with two precision-guided bombs, which destroyed the building's second floor. One Russian soldier died, and eight others were injured.

On the same day, Ukrainian forces used drones to attack another customs post—Pogar in the Pogarsky district. The strike resulted in the death of a Russian drone squad leader.

The day before, on February 8, a drone attack near the village of Brovnichi in the Klimovsky district left two more servicemen injured.
