Refineries, Oil Depots, and Plants – Drones Hit Key Sites in Russia

Over the past two days, drones have targeted several strategically significant sites in Russia, including an oil pipeline, an oil depot, three refineries, and the 'Rostec' helicopter plant, reports NewsBox.

During the last 48 hours, drones conducted strikes on various industrial and infrastructural facilities in Russia, targeting, among others, enterprises in the oil and gas sector and the defense industry. According to ASTRA, the facilities hit include the helicopter plant 'AO Rostvertol' in Rostov-on-Don, the 'Transneft-Privoz' oil transfer station in the Chertkovsky district, as well as several refineries in the Krasnodar region.

On the night of February 8, drones attacked the 'Kuybyshev-Lisichansk' pipeline, resulting in a fire at the 'Andriyanovskaya' line operation-dispatching station in the Volgograd region. On the same day, drones targeted the 'Slavyansk-ECO' refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban and the Ilyinsky oil refinery, yet damage reports remain unconfirmed.

On the next day, February 9, a drone struck an oil depot in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky in the Rostov region. No casualties were reported.

In the night leading up to February 10, drone strikes hit the Krasnodar region and the city of Krasnodar. In Afipsky village, drone debris fell on a residential house, while in Krasnodar itself, it impacted a multi-story building. Local media report that a pregnant woman was injured, but her condition is stable.

Defense Express reports that the Afipsky refinery was targeted; however, damage to the facility has not been confirmed.
