Passenger with a knife causes chaos on Nizhny Novgorod – Sochi flight. VIDEO

On the flight from Nizhny Novgorod to Sochi, a passenger brought a knife onboard and caused a disturbance, threatening passengers and damaging the cabin. He demanded a window seat and wine, and when refused, began to strike the cabin panels with the knife, reports NewsBox.

During the Nizhny Novgorod to Sochi flight operated by "Ikar," a 63-year-old passenger named Lev K. caused a disturbance onboard by bringing a knife with him.

When the Boeing 737 was flying over the Caspian Sea, the man asked to be moved to a window seat. Upon being denied, he pulled out a knife and began threatening passengers and crew. Besides a seat change, Lev also demanded alcohol, and when the flight attendants tried to calm him down, he started hitting the cabin panels with the knife, shouting "Let's all seat!"

The captain decided against an emergency landing and relayed information about the disruptive passenger to ground staff. After landing in Sochi, police detained the offender. Fortunately, none of the passengers were harmed, but the incident raised questions about the security measures - it's unclear how the knife ended up on board.
