Oil Refinery Attacked in Kaluga Region

A drone attack in the Kaluga region ignited the "First Plant" oil refinery. According to some reports, the pipeline, equipment, and fire station building sustained damage. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries, as reported by NewsBox.
On the night of February 15th, a fire broke out at the "First Plant" oil refinery located in the village of Polotnyany Zavod in the Kaluga region. According to ASTRA, the blaze was caused by a drone attack.
Sources indicate that at least 12 drones struck the facility, resulting in damage to the pipeline, refining equipment, and the fire station building. Several fire outbreaks were reported on the plant premises.
The governor of the Kaluga region confirmed that the facility in the Dzerzhinsky district was hit by a UAV attack. However, official sources have yet to disclose the extent of the damage.
According to information from the company's website, the "First Plant" is the largest petrochemical facility in the region, specialized in processing crude oil and gas condensate.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the attack.
