Oil Pumping Station Attacked in Tver Region

In the Tver region, nine drones struck the 'Andreapol' oil pumping station. As a result, the communication control room and the electrical switchboard were damaged, and the station's operations were temporarily halted. Ukrainian media, citing sources in the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), confirmed the attack, reports NewsBox.

On the night of February 13, the 'Andreapol' oil pumping station in the Tver region, owned by the company 'Transneft-Baltika', was attacked. Previously, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that nine drones had been shot down in the region, but sources from ASTRA claim that all the drones reached their target and caused damage to the facility.

According to media reports, the attack resulted in damage to the electrical switchboard building and the communication control room. There were no casualties or injuries, but the station's operations were temporarily suspended. On the evening of February 13, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) confirmed the attack, as reported by 'RBK-Ukraine'.

This is the second attack on the 'Andreapol' oil pumping station in the last two weeks. On the night of January 29, drones also targeted the station, causing damage to the communications building, operations area, and filtration pump site, as well as resulting in an oil product spill and fire.

The 'Andreapol' oil pumping station is a strategic facility and part of the Baltic Pipeline System-2. It plays a crucial role in the transportation of oil via the Surgut-Polotsk pipeline and regularly undergoes modernization.
