North Korea Pledges Unwavering Support for Russia - Kim Jong-un's Statement

Kim Jong-un has declared that North Korea unwaveringly supports Russia in line with a strategic partnership agreement and condemned the military alliance between the United States, Japan, and South Korea, reports NewsBox.

The North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, affirmed his support for Russia, stating that the military and people of North Korea will steadfastly stand by Moscow. According to him, this aligns with the spirit of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between North Korea and Russia.

During his visit to the Ministry of Defense on February 8, Kim Jong-un also commented on the military-political situation in the region. He accused South Korea, Japan, and the United States of escalating tensions, highlighting that their military alliance poses a threat to stability. Nevertheless, he emphasized that North Korea is not interested in confrontation but will take measures to maintain military balance in the region.

Amid these statements, Japanese media reported that North Korea might begin mass production of drones in 2025 with Russian support. According to NHK, this agreement could be part of a deal where Pyongyang sends military personnel to participate in the conflict in Ukraine on the side of Moscow.
