Moscow student faces charges for not reporting friend's plans.

A 15-year-old student in Moscow has been detained for refusing to inform authorities about his friend's plans, who set fire to the 'United Russia' office," reports NewsBox.
In Moscow, a criminal case has been opened against the 15-year-old student. He faces charges of failing to report a planned terrorist act under Article 205.6 of the Russian Criminal Code. The boy is under a travel restriction and could face up to a year in prison.
The incident is linked to the arson attack on the 'United Russia' office in Dolgoprudny, a suburb of Moscow, which took place on February 16, 2024, shortly after news broke about the death of Alexei Navalny in prison. Fortunately, nobody was injured in the arson attack. The following day, security forces detained Vladimir, a ninth-grader from Khimki, whom the investigation considers to be the perpetrator.
Investigators claim that as early as December 2023, Vladimir allegedly informed Sergey about his plans to commit arson. The schoolboy is accused of failing to report his friend, and his actions are now being classified as not informing about a terrorist act.
