Moscow Region Police Accused of Brutal Rape of Detainee

In the Moscow region, lawyers allege that a detainee was tortured and sexually assaulted by police, who demanded that he unlock his phone and give testimony, reports NewsBox.
According to the lawyers, in the Moscow region, police officers subjected a detainee to brutal torture and sexual assault to extract necessary testimony and unlock his phone. Lawyer Sergey Uzden noted that the detainee was hidden for three days and was only discovered on January 24.
The detainee recounted that officers from the Razvilkovsky department used a stun gun on various parts of his body, including his groin and buttocks. They then put a glove on a mop and used it for sexual assault. Evidence of the stun gun use was documented by the lawyer.
The victim is currently in a temporary detention facility. The Vidnovsky court in the Moscow region was scheduled to consider his arrest today, but the hearing was postponed, extending the detention by 72 hours. The court session will take place on Monday morning.
