Major Rostelecom Breach: Phone Numbers and Emails Leaked Online
The hacking group "Silent Crow" has announced a breach of Rostelecom's database, leading to a leak of thousands of email addresses and phone numbers, reports NewsBox.
The hackers from "Silent Crow" claimed responsibility for breaching Rostelecom's database. According to the "Information Leaks" channel, the attackers stole 154,000 unique email addresses and 101,000 phone numbers.
The company confirmed the data leak, clarifying that the information was accessed through the infrastructure of a contractor, as reported by "Kommersant". Currently, company specialists are examining the database contents to determine which portion of the information is specifically linked to Rostelecom.
