Legendary Villa and Supercars Worth Millions: What Was Found in Abramovich's Possessions in Germany?

Roman Abramovich is under investigation by German authorities—the prosecutor's office is examining his possible connections to luxury real estate and high-end cars, reports NewsBox.
German law enforcement has intensified its oversight of the assets owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, who is subject to EU sanctions. According to Der Spiegel, investigators are looking into his potential links to properties in Bavaria and expensive vehicles that have recently been placed under restriction.
A few months ago, authorities in Baden-Württemberg seized four luxury cars—two Bugatti Chirons, a Lamborghini Reventón, and a Mercedes CLK GTR. These cars, valued at millions of euros, are held by a private company specialized in elite and sports vehicles. The authorities have prohibited their sale, rental, or use as collateral.
In addition, a villa in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, known as Leitenschlössl, is under close scrutiny. This 19th-century building has reportedly been a regular retreat for Abramovich and his family since the early 2000s.
The property is officially owned by a Liechtenstein company, Parados Limited, according to land records. However, German investigators suspect that the Russian businessman effectively controls this asset. If confirmed, Abramovich should have disclosed the real estate to the German authorities after the imposition of EU sanctions, which did not happen, prompting the investigation.
Abramovich's lawyer insists that his client neither owns the villa nor the cars and has not violated European sanctions.
If found guilty, the Russian businessman faces a penalty or up to one year in prison. Additionally, German authorities are examining potential tax evasion related to the construction of the super yacht Eclipse in Hamburg.
