Large Fire in Kharkiv After Russian Strike

On the night of January 28, a significant fire broke out at a civilian enterprise in the Novobavarsky district of Kharkiv, reports NewsBox.

The news was shared by the city mayor Ihor Terekhov on his Telegram channel.

According to Terekhov, the strike targeted the southwestern part of the city where the enterprise is located. Currently, there are no reports of casualties.

The mayor did not specify the type of weaponry used for the strike. Recent hours have seen increased activity of Russian "Shahed" drones over the Kharkiv region. It is also known that Russian forces have previously used glide bombs for attacks on Kharkiv.

The situation in the city remains tense, as attacks on civilian targets continue. Authorities urge residents to stay cautious and not to ignore air raid alerts.
