"Is Kadyrov Missing?" Chechen Authorities Make a Statement

The Chechen authorities have dismissed reports suggesting that Ramzan Kadyrov might have disappeared, stating that he is continuing his duties. Chechen Minister of Information Akhmed Dudayev called these rumors 'disinformation' spread by adversaries, according to NewsBox.
Akhmed Dudayev, the Minister responsible for national policy, press, and information in Chechnya, asserted that Ramzan Kadyrov is actively fulfilling his responsibilities, and that rumors of his disappearance are not grounded in reality. He emphasized that such claims appear regularly and are part of an 'information war' waged by foes of the republic.
In response to publications on Telegram channels, Dudayev noted that various outlets are trying to mislead the public without any evidence. He added that Kadyrov's activities are consistently covered by official sources, as well as on television and radio.
Previously, journalists had noted the absence of the Chechen leader from public events over an 18-day period, from January 8 to 26.
In response, Dudayev, quoting Viktor Chernomyrdin, remarked: 'There was never anything like this, and here it goes again,' highlighting that such rumors are not new.
Kadyrov himself has not commented on the emerging information.
