In Primorsky Krai, a former "Wagner" PMC fighter is suspected of murder and causing serious bodily harm

A tragic incident occurred in the city of Lesozavodsk, Primorsky Krai, leaving one person dead and two injured, as reported by NewsBox.

According to local prosecutors, on February 2nd, a 52-year-old local, V.G. Kurinny, fatally stabbed a 43-year-old acquaintance during a domestic dispute. Additionally, two bystanders, including a woman, were injured. The wounded have been hospitalized and are receiving necessary medical care, writes Astra.

The accused, it turns out, has a criminal history. He has previously served time for crimes including murder and intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, for which he was sentenced to 3.5 years in 2021.

Open sources indicate that V.G. Kurinny was part of a private military company "Wagner" and returned from a conflict zone with awards.

An investigation is currently underway to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
