Hostel Burns Down in Moscow, Dozens Evacuated

A major fire broke out in Moscow on the grounds of a former factory site, which now houses a hostel. The blaze spread across 1,500 square meters, reports NewsBox.

In the northwestern part of Moscow, a building that once belonged to a factory caught fire. The area affected by the fire covered 1,500 square meters. Currently, a hostel operates there, and emergency services are investigating reports of possible casualties.

According to SHOT, the fire started around 5:30 a.m. The intense flames partially caused the roof of the building located in Skhodnensky Deadlock to collapse. Rescue teams evacuated around 50 people.

Fire crews and other emergency services are on site, actively working to extinguish the fire. The cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.
