In Petrozavodsk, the head of the Karelian branch of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), Artur Pryakhin, tragically ended his life by jumping out of the window of his office. He left a note asking that no one be blamed for his passing, reports NewsBox.

Artur Pryakhin, the director of the Karelian office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in Russia, committed suicide by leaping from his office window in the antitrust building in Petrozavodsk.

According to 112, the incident occurred around noon near the Varkaus embankment. Before this, Pryakhin left a farewell note in which he asked not to blame anyone for his death, apologized to his wife, and indicated where the money was kept.

Investigators are currently on the scene working to clarify the reasons behind his action.
