Fire and Explosions: Ukrainian Drones Launch Strike on Kaluga Oil Facility

Ukrainian drones targeted an industrial facility in Kaluga region, reportedly a oil depot in the village of Lyudino, according to NewsBox.

In Kaluga region, an attack occurred involving Ukrainian drones, resulting in a fire at the premises of the industrial site in the village of Lyudino. This was communicated by the regional governor Vasilav Shapsa. According to him, rescuers and an operational group are currently working at the scene, with no casualties reported.

While the exact name of the facility has not been disclosed, local Telegram channels are reporting that the fire started at the oil depot "Kaluganaftprodukt," which had already been attacked by Ukrainian drones in 2024. Local residents informed the SHOT channel that around 22:00 they heard several explosions, after which a large fire broke out near the oil extraction area.

In social media, footage has emerged showing a substantial fire and thick smoke above Lyudino.
