A court in Kursk issued a decision to arrest local entrepreneur Igor Rugaev for eight days. According to the publication "Ploshchad", the reason was his call to the group of contractors working on border fortifications to protest.

According to media reports, on February 2, Rugaev urged the builders to demonstrate in downtown Kursk to demand that the authorities accept and pay for their completed work.

On the court's website, journalists from "7x7" found information about the legal proceedings against the businessman. The court found him guilty of violating the regulations for organizing a protest and imposed an administrative sanction in the form of arrest.
