Aviation Collapse in Belgium! All Flights Rerouted to Other Countries

A technical malfunction occurred in Belgium's airspace, causing all flights to be rerouted to neighboring countries. Domestic flights have been halted, and airports are temporarily not accepting flights. So far, no reports of potential emergencies have been received, reports NewsBox.

According to the Belgian aviation authorities, disruptions in the air traffic control system began around 2 PM local time. As a result, the control tower has stopped both arrival and departure of flights, and flights in the air are being redirected to neighboring countries—France, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Airport authorities are warning of possible delays and schedule changes, and passengers are advised to monitor updates on the airlines' official websites.

Currently, specialists are working on fixing the issues, but no exact timeline has been provided for when the flight management system will be restored. Aviation officials promise that further updates will be available in the coming hours.

Passengers whose flights have been canceled or diverted are asked to contact their airlines for more information on the next steps. Possible compensation and ticket exchanges will be handled on an individual basis.
