Ramzan Kadyrov's cousin has acquired a lavish villa in Dubai, which the head of Chechnya reportedly uses as the republic's 'unofficial embassy', according to NewsBox.
In the UAE, luxury real estate linked to Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has been uncovered. According to the publication 'Important Stories', this opulent villa was purchased by his cousin, Shakhrudi Edilgiriev.
The mansion, occupying an area of 1,026 square meters, is situated on the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah within the prestigious Zabeel Saray hotel complex. The purchase was finalized in December 2022, with the property estimated at $14.4 million.
As reported by Ukrainian Pravda journalists, Kadyrov has been using the Dubai villa since 2014 as Chechnya's 'unofficial representation'. In 2017, it hosted meetings with local business figures, and Kadyrov even welcomed the legendary boxer Mike Tyson there.
