Zelensky and Yermak Announced Prisoner Exchange – Then Deleted Their Posts

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak announced another prisoner swap between Russia and Ukraine, during which 150 service members returned to Ukraine. However, both soon deleted their posts, reports NewsBox.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and his Chief of Staff Andriy Yermak announced a new exchange of prisoners of war between Kyiv and Moscow. According to them, 150 fighters returned to Ukrainian territory, some of whom had been held captive for over two years. Zelensky also expressed gratitude to partners, especially the UAE, for their assistance in facilitating the exchange.

Nevertheless, shortly after the announcement, both statements were deleted. Before this, information about the '150 for 150' swap appeared on Russian Z-channels, although the Russian Defense Ministry did not officially confirm the exchange. The reasons for the deletion of the messages by Ukrainian officials remain unknown.
