Trump's Envoy on the War: Ukraine Lost Hundreds of Thousands of Soldiers

The U.S. President's envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, stated that Ukraine has lost more military personnel in the war with Russia than the U.S. did in the Korean and Vietnam Wars combined, reports NewsBox.
Keith Kellogg, the U.S. President’s special representative on Ukrainian affairs, announced on Fox News that Ukrainian losses in the ongoing conflict with Russia exceed the combined American military losses in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. According to him, the war involves "hundreds of thousands of casualties" on both sides. He did not provide exact figures but emphasized the tragedy's vast scale.
According to Global Security, 47,378 American soldiers were killed in the eight-year Vietnam War, and 33,651 in Korea, totaling 81,029 people. Moreover, Kellogg stated in December that Russia's losses are five times greater than Ukraine's, estimating 350,000-400,000 Russian fatalities and 150,000 Ukrainian. He attributed this imbalance to "meat grinder tactics" supposedly used by Russia in the style of North Korean operations.
Western intelligence estimates Ukrainian losses at 60,000 to 100,000 killed, while the Ua Losses portal records 68,437 fallen Ukrainian military personnel. The average age of the deceased is 38.3 years. According to Mediazona and BBC, Russian losses amount to 90,019 people. In December, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that 43,000 Ukrainian soldiers died in the war, and an additional 370,000 were wounded, half of whom returned to service.
Previously, Donald Trump claimed that Ukraine lost about 400,000 soldiers, while Russia lost 600,000. In January, he updated his figures, estimating Ukrainian losses at 600,000-700,000 killed, and Russian losses at 800,000.
