Reuters: A new Ukraine meeting to take place in Paris – 11 countries invited

France is initiating a second meeting of European countries on Ukraine, scheduled for Wednesday. President Emmanuel Macron has extended invitations to nations not present at the first summit, and also to Canada, reports NewsBox.
France is organizing a new gathering of European countries to discuss the situation surrounding Ukraine and EU security. According to Reuters, President Emmanuel Macron intends to bring together leaders from countries that did not participate in the first summit, alongside representatives from Canada.
According to Reuters sources, invitations have been extended to: Norway, Canada, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Czech Republic, Greece, Finland, Romania, Sweden, and Belgium.
Some countries might participate remotely via videoconference.
Earlier, ahead of US-Russia talks in Riyadh, the first emergency meeting of European leaders was organized by Macron. The gathering came as Europe was excluded from discussions on a potential peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine.
