Kazakhstan Ministry of Energy Delegation Visits Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant in Russia

A delegation from Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy visited the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant to explore Rosatom's technologies, reports NewsBox.
According to the Telegram channel Sputnik Near Abroad, the delegation examined the operations of Generation 3+ VVER-1200 water-water reactors.
It's noted that these reactors are among the key technologies offered by Rosatom.
The publication also mentions that Kazakhstan is considering Rosatom as a potential supplier for building its own nuclear power plant.
As part of selecting the optimal partner, the country is also reviewing proposals from companies in China, South Korea, and France.
As a reminder, a referendum on constructing a nuclear power plant took place in Kazakhstan on October 6.
