Exchange of Soldiers' Bodies: Ukraine Receives 757, Russia 49

The bodies of 757 fallen soldiers have been returned to Ukraine, with the majority having perished in the Donetsk area, reports NewsBox.
The Ukrainian Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War announced the return of 757 bodies of fallen soldiers. The largest number of these, 451 soldiers, fought in the Donetsk area. There were 137 bodies returned from the Zaporizhia front, 71 from Bakhmut, 51 from Vuhledar, and 13 from Luhansk.
Although the Russian side has not officially confirmed the exchange, according to the Telegram channel "Military Informant," 49 bodies of fallen soldiers were returned to Russia.
Previously, on December 20, 2024, an exchange took place where Ukraine received 503 bodies and Russia received 42.
