Putin's Daughter Maria Vorontsova to Visit Yaroslavl School as a Leading Scientist in Russia

Maria Vorontsova, the eldest daughter of Russia's President Vladimir Putin, will visit School No. 33 in Yaroslavl this April as part of a delegation of top scientists from Moscow State University (MSU). Vorontsova is recognized as one of the country's leading scientists, reports NewsBox.
Maria Vorontsova, President Vladimir Putin's eldest daughter, is scheduled to visit one of the top schools in the Yaroslavl region, School No. 33, in April 2025. According to the school's foundation, Vorontsova will join a delegation of MSU's "leading scientists". She is presented as a candidate of medical sciences, an associate professor in internal diseases, and a deputy dean of the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine at MSU.
The school's foundation emphasizes that the visit aims to introduce 7-11th grade students to the educational opportunities at MSU, one of Russia's premier universities. The institution ranks 112th nationwide and first in the Yaroslavl region for the number of graduates admitted to prestigious universities.
The school's organizing foundation was established with the involvement of Anatoly Lisitsyn, former governor of the Yaroslavl region and current State Duma deputy, alongside local entrepreneurs. Among the founders are Larisa Saprykina, co-owner of a network of paint and varnish sales companies, and her father Mikhail Saprykin, former head of the "Lakokraska" plant and a State Duma deputy. Saprykina declined to comment on the visit when approached by journalists.
In recent years, Vladimir Putin's daughters, Maria Vorontsova and Katerina Tikhonova, have increasingly appeared at public events as experts. In 2024, both participated in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, and Vorontsova is frequently highlighted as a prominent medical specialist.
